Description
The National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (NECB) 2020 is the most recent version of this national standard, aimed at improving energy efficiency in building design and construction. It establishes minimum energy performance requirements for new buildings and major renovations, ensuring they meet specific energy efficiency goals. This course is designed to provide an overview of the NECB 2020. Participants will gain an understanding of the standard's content, its objectives, and the rationale behind its requirements. The course will also cover practical aspects of applying the code to various types of buildings.
