Description
Project leaders and technical staff charged with delivering tangible results require objective cost assessments for funding and control decisions. The business purpose of the cost engineering function is to provide these assessments early and reliably so that a better decision may be made.
This course examines the key concepts of cost engineering, including estimating, risk analysis, cost control, scheduling and change management to achieve the best value for investments and expenditures. It also provides methodologies, procedures and tools, along with the hands-on application of use.

FORMATEUR
Johny Kesserwany, ing.Johny Kesserwany, P.Eng., has 25 years of experience in Canada and internationally in project management, design management, administration, and control management. He has worked on construction projects in the commercial, residential, healthcare, hotel and leisure, retail, industrial, railway, and infrastructure sectors.
Mr. Kesserwany has expertise in all project phases, including design review and management, tender management, estimating, planning and scheduling, time and resources management, budget analysis, cost control, and document control. He has extensive experience in contract administration (FIDIC, AIA, and government contracts) and a broad knowledge of claims assessment and avoidance.
In addition to teaching construction management, Mr. Kesserwany has previously lectured on project management and Primavera and MS Project software applications.
