Description
This course delves into the Stage-Gate® process, Lean Innovation, Lean Engineering, Agile, Scrum methods, and Lean Six Sigma for product development. Each methodology provides a structured framework for delivering projects with a focus on efficiency, quality, and speed. The Stage-Gate® process ensures a step-by-step approach. Lean Innovation and Lean Engineering minimize waste while maximizing value. Agile and Scrum prioritize flexibility and rapid iteration. Lean Six Sigma combines efficiency with quality emphasis.

In addition, the course explores integrating these methodologies with other processes, such as R&D project management and strategic R&D project portfolio management. FORMATEUR

Ramez Zalat, ing., M.B.A.

Mr. Ramez Zalat, engineer, M.B.A., holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from McGill University. He has also received training in Lean and Six Sigma.

President and founder of Manavue Inc., a consulting firm, he has been advising companies for over 30 years, helping them develop their innovation strategies and optimize their performance and business processes. His client list includes Pratt & Whitney Canada Inc, Sanimax, STM, Alstom, GE Canada, PremierTech and Videotron.

Mr. Ramez Zalat has also been teaching at Polytechnique Montréal for several years (lecturing in the bachelor's program as well as in the joint HEC/Poly M.B.A. on innovation).
